The Englischfee is a company I founded in 2011 in order to bring children more into nature. I had been working in classroom settings with children ages 3-12 for 15 years and saw a great need for more time outdoors. I realized that although there are a lot of German outdoor programs for children, there were very little in English, and so I slowly began to define my niche here. I took the different aspects of my own Early Childhood Education & Montessori training and fused them with a 3 year "Wilderness Paedagogik" Ausbildung that I completed in 2015.

I offer weekend programs that consist of teaching children outdoor skills such as fire making, pocket knife skills, archery, animal tracking and active listening/questioning. I’ve also started a family program so that families can share in learning these new skills together- forming a stronger bond through doing something new and challenging together.

Since 2011, I have been running Holiday Camps at the Amperhof Organic Farm in Esting during the Bavarian school holiday’s of Herbstferien, Osterferien and Sommerferien for children ages 5-12. These camps are centered on being outdoors, creating art from nature and learning about the environment through hands-on experiences.
